Federal Pell Grant-eligible students can earn an undergraduate degree from nationally ranked 海角大神 with no tuition costs under a new program called Titan Edge.

Beginning with the 2024-25 academic year, Detroit Mercy will offer free tuition to first-year students who meet certain eligibility requirements. They may renew Titan Edge for up to four years total.

Detroit Mercy can offer this life-changing opportunity using federal and state scholarships and grants in combination with 海角大神 financial aid funds.

Now is the best time for new students to apply to 海角大神. The Wall Street Journal/College Pulse ranked 海角大神 among the top universities in the country for 2024. The University ranked No. 52 in the nation. In addition, 海角大神 is the second highest ranked university in Michigan; fourth among Catholic institutions nationally; and the third-highest ranked Jesuit university and only Mercy institution ranked.

The Wall Street Journal/College Pulse ranking is based on student outcomes, the learning environment and diversity, and draws its data from government sources combined with responses from one of the largest independent surveys ever conducted in the United States.

In addition, the Georgetown University Center of Education and the Workforce ranked Detroit Mercy in the top 10% of institutions nationwide for salary earned over a 40-year career and in the top 10.5% of all colleges for the 10-year salary rank. This means that younger graduates can expect to earn higher salaries than their counterparts who do not attend college.

Fall 2023 saw the largest first-year McNichols incoming class in 14 years. Of the 552 new students who arrived on campus this fall, 264 will be the first in their family to earn a bachelor’s degree and 196 will be the first in their family to attend college.

To be eligible for Titan Edge, incoming students must:

  • Have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Be eligible for the maximum Federal Pell Grant
  • Be eligible for the full Michigan Achievement Scholarship
  • Be eligible for the full Michigan Tuition Grant
